Dr. Anthony Hilleren grew up in Danvers, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 1993. He enjoyed competing as a wrestler in his high school and college years. Anthony earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1999. He was recognized by the National Society of Dental Practitioners with the Law and Ethics Award. Tony has been practicing in his hometown of Benson since 2001 after beginning practice in Ortonville, MN.
Anthony graduated from the US Army Infantry Training Center, Fort Benning, GA, in 1989 as well as Officer Candidate School at Fort Sam Houston, TX in 1999. Dr. Hilleren recently received the HQ 84th Troop Certificate of Appreciation for his support in achieving and maintaining high standards of deployment for our soldiers.
Anthony, a bachelor in 2003, is now a husband and father of 6 children, enjoys a daughter-in-law and Grandsons. Tending the ‘girls’ in his life is a full time affair with active twin daughters who are 8 years old and many mama cows on the pasture. You often find him walking the remnants of native prairie and appreciating the great diversity it presents. In the summer he is making hay (when the sun shines) and rotationally grazing his herd of cows and calves.
Tony’s roots in West Central Minnesota run deep as does his commitment to the people of this area. The deep rooted Bluestem prairie grasses inspired the name of our new clinic.
Dr. Hilleren is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association as well as the West Central District Dental Society. He has served as a Board Member for the Swift County Benson Hospital and as a Kiwanis Member. He looks forward to serving and participating in the community.
